Sandy & Brittany Bates

I started Paws n’ Critters with my daughter, Brittany, because we wanted to create a business that we both share a passion for and enjoy! We have been animal lovers/enthusiasts for years and decided to start a pet and home sitting business. We enjoy caring for your pets and understand the great need for this within our community. Your pets are our extended family and we care for your pets and home as if it were our own!
Brittany is a volunteer for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. Brittany volunteers her time in the Pet VIP program and helping out at the Pawsh Stores. She enjoys contributing her time to animals when she isn’t sitting Paws n’ Critters customers!
We begun our business in August 2009, and we are now servicing over 175 customers city-wide. We are still servicing our very first customer and have grown to become attached to all our pets that we watch. As our business grows, so does our staff.
We all look forward to helping you out with all your pet sitting needs.
Paws n‘ Critters is licensed-bonded-insured and accredited with the Better Business Bureau for your peace of mind.
All sitters have passed a background/criminal history check and are trained in pet first aid.
Paws n’ Critters strives in providing excellent customer service and loving pet care!
Please read all our Testimonials in the “Blog” section of this website! We also have many on Yahoo and Google local listings. We just signed up on Angie’s List...please check them out!
Brittany services the Northwest areas of Tucson, Oro Valley, Casas Adobes, Foothills, Marana and In-Town areas.
Jack Matson

Hi, my name is Jack Matson. My family, along with my in-laws and all my grown kids moved to Tucson in 1996 when the company, I and my son worked for, relocated here. After putting 41 years with Krebs Engineers I retired last year and am now working with Paws n’ Critters.
My family and I have always had pets, dogs, cats, chickens, and now horses. Most times we have two dogs and a cat. Right now we have our Border Collie Fiona, our Chihuahua Samantha and our Australian Healer Bodie. And we also have an orange cat Caleb, that thinks he’s a dog. Along with that we were given two Minnie horses, Star and Gidget. We also have a flock of chickens that give us fresh eggs every day. We have what we’ve always wanted, a place with enough room to have more animals and a big vegetable garden.
Jack services the Northwest areas of Tucson, Oro Valley, Catalina, Dove Mountain & Marana areas.
Mimi Moriarty & Rick Asher

Hi, we are Mimi and Rick a married and professional couple. After interviewing Sandy and seeing how well she cared for our chocolate lab Georgia, we wanted to get involved in Paws n' Critters and use our love of animals along with my background in customer service to give the same quality pet sitting service that Sandy had provided to us. We care deeply for animals and we always treat every one in our care as my own personal pet. We have had pets throughout our entire lives and understand that pets are not just animals in our homes, but members of our families. We look forward to caring for your pets and making sure your home is looked after with the best care possible.

Rick & Georgia
Mimi & Rick service the Continental Ranch, Sunflower and Gladden Farm areas in Marana. They also provide semi-private boarding in their home and because you come to them for semi-private boarding they service city-wide.
Roger Rospond

Hi, I’m Roger and I’ve lived in Tucson for over 20 years. I am a retired business owner in marketing and advertising. I enjoy helping out Paws n’ Critters by taking in small pets for private sitting, the “Paws n’ Slumber” service and love them as if they were my own. I have had many breeds over the many years and enjoy all of them. If you only have one small dog and you don’t want to leave them at home alone and you want them to be pampered and loved 24/7....then look no further!
Roger services any customer city-wide because he only provides private boarding in his home! You come to him!
Lisa Traynor

I am a 28 year military veteran of the National Guard. I spent most of my career here in Tucson, Phoenix, and Washington DC plus 8 months in Afghanistan. I am an animal lover! I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a pet companion. Growing up we always had a couple of dogs and cats. As an adult I have limited myself to cats due to my busy lifestyle. My love of animals is not restricted to small animals but all animals big and small domesticated and wild. I am looking forward to helping to care for your pet companions!
Lisa services the Oro Valley areas.
Pamela Glantz

Hi, my name is Pam. I have been in Tucson for about 5 years. Originally I am from the East coast. I have always been an animal lover. I have worked with shelters here and on the East coast for many years. The last 2 1/2 years I have been lucky enough to be able to work with animals as a full-time job. I work as an adoption counselor for a well known organization in town.
I love both cats & dogs, but felines are my specialty. I have many cats of my own and I study cat behaviors as a hobby and I work with my customers on feline behavior issues.
I am happy to join Paws n’ Critters as a pet sitter. I come to your home and I can do overnights if that is what is needed. I work mainly with cats & dogs, but I can sit and provide care for whatever pet family member(s) you might have.
Pam services the East Side of Tucson and Foothills
